Attachment and mix
Basket composition study
A reading of what actually sits together in paid baskets: attachments, lonely hero SKUs, and categories that never share a cart.
Who this is for
Teams who already know conversion is acceptable but suspect the basket is thin: one hero item, few add-ons, and little cross-category pairing.
What you receive
A basket atlas: frequent pairs, items that travel alone, and merchandising prompts (placement, copy, and kit suggestions) tied to those patterns.
Scope
Export review of order lines you provide for a closed period, plus a live walk of how those attachments are currently offered on the site.
Included
- Guidance on a safe, anonymized order-line export
- Pair and singleton analysis for the agreed period
- Live-site notes on where attachments are offered too early, too late, or not at all
- Written atlas and a 60-minute readout
Not included
- Customer identity matching or mailing list work
- Warehouse slotting or 3PL contracts
Who does the work
A merchandiser at Buildstreamgrid, with a second reader on the atlas.
How the work runs
- Agree the date range and category filter.
- You send a stripped order-line file (SKU, quantity, order id, no names).
- We map pairs and walk the live attachment points.
- Readout of what to kit, what to leave as a lonely hero, and what to stop recommending.
Timing
Eight business days after a usable export arrives.
Where it happens
Remote, with optional in-person readout in Smyrna.
What to prepare
Remove customer names, emails, and addresses from the export before sending.
Limits
We do not ingest files that still contain personal contact fields.
Fee basis
Fixed fee by order-line volume band. From USD 1,800 for up to 8,000 order lines. Informational only; nothing is billed through this website.
Next step
Ask for the export field list at contact@buildstreamgrid.digital before sending any file.
