Refunds and cancellation
These rules apply to merchandising readings described on this site. They do not describe physical merchandise, subscriptions, or downloadable installers, because we do not sell those through the website.
Eligibility
A refund may apply when a confirmed reading has not yet started the live catalog walk, or when we cancel because we cannot staff the window we promised. Once the walk has begun, the fee is generally earned for time already spent, with any remainder handled as a partial refund as set out below.
Timeframe
Ask for a refund in writing to contact@buildstreamgrid.digital within 14 days of the event that triggers it (our cancellation, your cancellation before the walk, or delivery of a dossier you believe is missing an agreed section). Requests after 14 days are considered only where the dossier was never sent.
Full refund
You receive a full refund of amounts paid if we cancel, if you cancel more than five business days before the agreed kickoff, or if we never begin the live walk after taking a hold.
Partial refund
If you cancel after kickoff but before the dossier is sent, we refund the unused portion after deducting time already spent on the walk and draft, billed against the confirmed fee in reasonable proportion (for example, half the fee if the walk is complete and the PDF is not). If a deposit was taken to hold a peak-season window and you cancel inside five business days of kickoff, the hold is not returned; remaining unused fees still follow the proportion rule.
Non-refundable items
Completed readouts, delivered PDFs, and travel day rates already incurred for a readout away from 2950SCobbDr Smyrna Georgia(GA) 30080 are not refundable. Optional desktop utility listings on third-party sites are outside these terms.
Process
Email the reading name, confirmation date, and reason. We reply with the calculation. Approved refunds are sent by the same method you used to pay the invoice (bank transfer or the method stated on that invoice).
Processing time
We instruct the refund within ten business days of agreement. Your bank may add further time.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule a kickoff once, with at least three business days’ notice, at no extra fee. A second move, or a move inside three days, may require a new hold. We may reschedule for illness; the window then shifts without penalty.
No-shows
If you miss the readout and do not send written notice within 24 hours, the readout portion is treated as delivered. We will send the PDF if it was already finished. A replacement meeting is quoted as extra time.
Work already started
Screenshots, clustering, and draft pages created after kickoff remain our working papers. You do not receive unfinished drafts as a substitute for a refund calculation.
Purchased materials
We do not buy inventory, photography, or print on your behalf. There are no material restocking rules.
